SUENA is a music festival celebrating the spirit of global cities and human beings through the intersection of music, culture, and experience.
The festival is full of color, joy, balloons, and good vibes reflected in its visual identity. SUENA aimed to inject Bogota with vibrancy and culture, trading the gray skies for sunny ones.
Understanding that SUENA was precisely a celebration of urban culture, we didn’t have to look far to find the elements for art direction. The festival inspired the visual system; balloons — used at every party worldwide— became the starting point for Suena’s custom-made typography.
An explosion of color was also synonymous with diversity; SUENA belongs to everyone and is here to stay and grow in the heart of Colombia.
Finally, we created an out-of-home campaign to make the brand more familiar and recognizable.
Banners, posters, and other pieces dressed the city in color throughout the festival month; the most impressive effort was the color animations displayed in the outer shell of the Movistar Arena.
